Our checkout process only generates an RFQ rather than an actual purchase order. At Quicksilver Controls we measure our success in our customer satisfaction. To this end, given the complexity of servo applications, we manually verify every order. We want to ensure each motor and controller will not only work together, but be the right choice to fulfill your requirements, and also to confirm whether other parts are suggested to make a working system. We then confirm the availability and lead time for each item requested. As such, each “order” generated by the store is actually a request for quote (RFQ). The price shown DOES NOT include any shipping, taxes, or duties; these will be added when we manually review the RFQ. The “free” shipping shown only applies to will-call. We will contact you to verify lead times, to arrange shipping method, to confirm the total price (including shipping, taxes, duties, etc.) and to arrange payment.
To generate the RFQ:

During checkout: Please submit your shipping and contact information.
Select “Pick up in store” shipping option, which will indicate that (only) this mode of shipping free; all other shipping methods will be arranged when we contact you, and the cost of such will be added the order once we have arranged your preferred method. We normally ship UPS, FedEx and DHL to locations handled by these services.
Choose one of the payment options (check, wire transfer, or cash on delivery); when we contact you we can arrange the actual payment method, including credit cards.

Your RFQ “order” will be submitted to our fulfillment team for us to review. We will contact you via phone or email. We will contact you to verify shipping method, confirm the total order costs including shipping and taxes, and to process payment via ACH, Wire, Credit Card or Check. We will also advise you if other items are suggested for a complete working system.
For security reasons, please DO NOT include any payment information (i.e. account numbers or Credit card information) on the webpage nor via any email. We will not email you requesting you to email any confidential payment information. We only process this information by phone.
